Short answer
When every choice starts to feel equally important, reduce the number of choices before trying to make better choices.
Use defaults
Choose the simplest acceptable option for low-consequence decisions. Save attention for cost, safety, timing, values and decisions that are difficult to reverse.
Batch decisions
Make calls in one block, wording in another, and shopping in another instead of switching categories all day.
Create a stop time
After a certain hour, only genuinely urgent decisions continue. Fatigue can make small choices feel catastrophic.
